In collaboration with our community partners and with funding from the department of Public Health, the TQSOI has lauched the “Let’s Talk Food” survey. This study is designed to gather information about the needs of Pointe-Claire residents when it comes to fresh fruits and vegetables and the needs of organizations and schools who provide food services to residents. This will help us improve our understanding of your experiences and challenges to accessing fresh fruits and vegetables.

The West Island is a food desert! This means that residents have limited access to fresh produce within walking distance. Living in a food desert is especially difficult for the vulnerable population.
