YOUTH VOLUNTEER FAIR
The Table de quartier sud de l’Ouest-de-l’Île, in collaboration with its partner organizations, and as part of the Volunteering Support’s initiatives (Poverty Reduction and Social Inclusion Committee) dedicated to fostering a culture of youth volunteerism in the West Island, successfully organized the fall edition of the Youth Volunteer Fair on September 23rd. This event proved to be a resounding success for the local organizations and individuals who participated.
A total of 11 local organizations actively engaged with 136 participants from 10am to 2pm. Among these participants, we were delighted to welcome 56 enthusiastic and motivated young individuals who are the future of volunteerism in our community. Their energy and passion were truly inspiring and it was great to see that they came from all municipalities or boroughs of West Island.
This event was a testament to the power of collaboration and community spirit. It provided a platform for organizations to showcase their volunteer opportunities, and it allowed young people to explore and connect with causes they are passionate about. The fair served as a bridge, connecting those in need of support and those eager to lend a helping hand.
