The community housing forums brought together residents, decision-makers, experts, developers, community organizations, and other stakeholders in collaborative workshops to discuss and design solutions to key housing challenges in our municipalities.

Thank you to everyone who took part in these interactive sessions and helped develop practical strategies to improve community housing.

These forums made it possible to:

• gather participants’ ideas and experiences to help shape the future of community housing in their municipality;
• engage the local community — planning staff, neighbours, and elected officials — around creative solutions;
• build a shared vision for more inclusive and affordable community housing options.

The reports from these forums are now available below.

A Guide to Facilitating Community Housing Development in the South of the West Island is also available.
