On the night of June 5th, 2021 a fire tore through an apartment building on Brunswick Boulevard in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, forcing the displacement of at least 75 families. Phil Carpenter from Global News covered the aftermath of the event. Piotr Boruslawski, Housing Liaison Agent at the TQSOI, was contacted to provide insight into the impact of the housing crisis on these families as they now struggle to find a new home.
