The Table du Quartier Sud de l’Ouest-de-l’Île (TQSOI) is very proud to introduce the new organization : Comité d’action des locataires de l’Ouest-de-l’Île (CALODI). The constitution of an organization dedicated to protect tenants rights is an important, long-awaited step in the West-Island.
The mission of the CALODI is to promote access to good quality housing and to improve the quality of life for West Island tenants.

The creation of CALODI is the result of several years of effort by a number of West Island social actors. For too long, the lack of resources has been a reality for West Island tenants.
The COVID-19 pandemic has reinforced the urgency of establishing a resource in the West Island. The timeline below illustrates TQSOI’s efforts to establish the new organization.
